I’m really sorry about your break up. I went through a pretty horrible one (slash I’m still going through it because the bastard is on the lease and now he won’t pay any rent) and I thought I would never be happy again, but it wasn’t so. Now I think, so what if I don’t have romantic love right at this very moment? I LEARNED TO LOOK AT WHAT I DO HAVE, WHICH IS AN AMAZING SUPPORT NETWORK OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS. rely on them if you do, too.
It really helped me to put this on my fridge and say it out loud forcefully whenever I saw it:
“I love myself.
Fuck Ryan.
Now I can have actually clean dishes and no gross beard shavings all over the sink.
I will find someone better; it’s inevitable.”
You should make your own obviously substituting the person’s name and whatever annoys you about them.
